The Horizon Project involves the construction of a new B6 dock and its 70,000 m² storage area, including the development of a tugboat station, the extension of docks B1 and B2, and the redevelopment of the port area.
The notice of project submitted by the SPIPB, as well as the minister’s directives regarding the preparation of the project’s impact assessment, are available for consultation in the public registry of projects subject to the environmental impact assessment and review procedure (PÉEIE) of the MELCCFP, at the following website: www.ree.environnement.gouv.qc.ca. Any individual, group, or municipality may submit written concerns to the Minister regarding the project’s issues and impacts, no later than July 4, 2025. Concerns can be submitted to the Minister through the public environmental assessment registry at the web address mentioned above.
The public consultation period is from June 4 to July 4, 2025.
