The port of Bécancour is open year round. It can receive ships requiring 35 feet (10.67 metres) of water depth. In addition to its jetty, divided into five berths totalling 1,130 m and including a Ro-Ro ramp, port facilities boast 61 hectares (151 acres) of available storage space. Many other marine services are available: stevedoring, towage, customs, a marine agency, potable water, electricity and communications.
