Education

The Collège Laflèche offers an international B.A. program, and the École internationale de français of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières offers a renowned French immersion program.

These include the Mauricie National Park, the Trois-Rivières Symphony Orchestra, the Quebec Museum of Folk Arts and Traditions, Les Forges National Historic Site, the Shrine at Notre-Dame-du-Cap and a wealth of art galleries, museums, historic sites, interpretation centres, theatres, cinemas (15) and exhibition and concert halls that offer many different programs ranging from variety shows to performances of popular or classical music. The choice is up to you!

The surrounding region is ideal for sports and outdoor activities of all kinds all year round: golf, fishing and hunting, biking, soccer, water sports, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, cross-country and downhill skiing, tennis, curling, bowling and horse racing. Golf enthusiasts will be delighted by the quality of the region's ten courses, where they can play for about $35 per game. Official Languages

French is the official language in Quebec, but bilinguism French and English is widespread. Education is offered mainly in French, but workers from outside Quebec working temporarily in the province can choose the language and educational institution for their children during their stay.
