Local and government programs

A wide range of assistance programs and services are available to investors to encourage the implementation of industrial transformation and manufacturing projects. The Société du parc industriel et portuaire de Bécancour supports investors in their efforts to set up a business.

Provincial Government 

Investissement Québec, an agency run by the Government of Quebec, coordinates the actions of the provincial government by receiving and supporting investment projects.

Local   

The city of Bécancour gives building owners a property tax credit of a 100% for 3 years to compensate for the tax resulting from an increase in the taxable value of an industrial building that has undergone construction, reconstruction, transformation, renovation or expansion.

CLD of Bécancour

The CLD (Local Development Centre) of Bécancour provides technical support for the startup, consolidation and development of small and medium entreprises (SME) : consulting services, orientation, business plans, feasibility studies, funding research, follow-up, financial assistance, training and referral to specialized services.
